A delightful family film about a talking pig. The second most successful Aussie film of all time, after Crocodile Dundee. A simple story well told, about a pig who wants to be a sheepdog, and proceeds to prove she can be. Bright and cheerful colours in the idyllic rural setting and great comic lines and situations. Scribe Miller took the helm for the sequel, Babe II: Pig in the City, which was an unmitigated flop.
