The first Crocodile Dundee is Australia's #1 most successful film of all time by a long long way. Combined with it's sequel (#3 most popular Oz film ever), the franchise made over $850 million. To put this in persepective: if you just remove Babe (#2) and The Piano (#4), the Crocs films made more than the other Top 100 Australian films of all time combined !!! An agreeable and very watchable story, if somewhat predictable, helped by the charm of Hogan. Don't even bother with the sequels.
