Deservedly swept the AFI awards for 2005. In fact, the best Australian film for several years, easily eclipsing the self-conscious artiness of Little Fish with a deeply honest script, innovative direction and excellent performance from the ensemble cast. Watt's background as an animator injects itself with great skill into the story of a group of people over the course of a weekend, as they each deal with various personal crises. The mark of its greatness is that, despite or indeed perhaps because of, the tragedy, there are also several fantastic comic moments.
